This season of track generally goes from the Monday after Thanksgiving break to sometime mid-February. This season is different from all of the other seasons of track because it is an indoor season. This means that instead of visiting or inviting a school to compete, all schools go to the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston. There the teams all compete at the same time in what are called dual meets. A Dual meet allows all the teams to comptete in one day, but each individual team is only competing against two other teams. This lets the teams grow between each meet so that they don't have to compete against every team at one time.
